HOUSING UPDATES FOR 2020-2021
Residence Life will be announcing new housing configurations and processes for the coming school year as soon as possible. We will update our website and communicate these changes via email to inform all students as changes are determined and if any actions are needed. Please continue checking your Mines email and this website for more details and housing information to come.
Residence Life is waiving the first-year residency requirement for the 2020-2021 academic year. Members of the Class of 2024 will not be required to live on-campus in an effort to help lower density in the residence halls while allowing students to commute from home or pursue other housing options off-campus.
Any first-year student intending to live off-campus must complete a by June 26, 2020.

Resident freshmen are now allowed to purchase a parking permit for the Fall 2020 semester. No waiver application is required. For rates, sale dates, and other information, please visit Parking Services.
If you are going to be a second-year undergraduate during the 2020-2021 academic year, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for sophomore housing availability in the new 1750 Jackson or Maple Hall. The application for Mines Park Apartments is currently available through the housing portal on . If you are currently assigned to Sophomore Housing and have any questions or concerns regarding your assignment, please contact email@example.com. Please note: the application/assignment information for 1750 Jackson and Maple Hall will not be available through the housing portal until July 2020, once our first-year application process has closed.

We look forward to welcoming incoming and returning students to campus this summer and during the 2020-2021 academic year. Please note the proposed rates are pending approval from the Board of Trustees and are subject to change, but will not be approved higher than the proposed amounts listed. The Board of Trustees typically approves housing rates in May each year.
